In 1995 Mervin took a big risk and invested in starting a business as a concrete contractor. With humble beginnings of four men, one truck and trailer, and one skid steer Mervin was able to grow his business into what it is today.

Though Sugarcreek Concrete was primarily a residential contractor through 2007 Mervin was faced with a hard decision. In 2008 with the economic downturn Mervin was forced to either take another risk and reinvest into the business or close his doors.

With the reinvestment and turning our focus on commercial concrete, Sugarcreek Concrete had growth even during the hardships endured during the economic downturn.

Today Sugarcreek Concrete remains a strong leader in North-Eastern Ohio concrete.
